I am very disappointed that you felt the need to leave such a nasty, malicious review and slur on my reputation.We have been a family run business for almost 30 years in the Bay and have built this on honest, reasonably priced work to a high standard. You were not present during my visit and have completely misrepresented the facts. I did not remove my clean,steel toe capped safety boots as this is a health and safety requirement. I regularly wear a face mask and always use hand sanitizer in and out of properties. I took the boiler apart & showed your daughter the corroded parts, she then took photos. I suggested it may not be worth repairing as the boiler was so old and would they like a free quote for a new boiler, to which they replied ,yes. I sent the free quote that evening. The £15.00 charge was for the work involved & inspecting the boiler. I have never met or spoken to you & you have not tried to contact me, had you done so I would, of course explained the problem with the boiler etc. I did explain the problem to your daughter at the time, but I most certainly did not intimidate or frighten your mother at any time. I have also contacted Age UK and they are satisfied that the matter is resolved. We appreciate that Age UK have to deal with confused people on the odd occasion such as this.
